Fionn Connolly is a full time independent music producer and mix engineer based in East London. A multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter in his own right, Fionn (pronounced 'Finn') specialises in producing for independent artists: his work is regularly played on BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, and has been featured at TEDxExeter, the Musical Comedy Awards, and Exeter Cathedral.

Fionn went full time in December 2023, and has already worked on over 30 projects, across a number of different genres. From indie folk artists like George Bone (Best New Artist 2024, Radio Wigwam), to comedians like Ash Weir (MCA Finalist 2024), queer pop up-and-comers like Mason Jones, indie punk queens Winnx, alt rock god Modern Liv and pop rock icon saachisen (and many more).

Fionn graduated with distinction from his Masters in Popular Music from Goldsmiths College, UoL, where he specialised in Music Production, & studied sound engineering with Sean Woodlock (Moin, Sports Team), Mikko Gordon (Thom Yorke, Pete Townsend) and Nick Powell (Arlo Parks, Matthew Herbert).

Before that, Fionn graduated with a 2:1 in Music from the University of Cambridge, where he specialised in composition & film composition, and wrote a dissertation on Pink Floyd.

Fionn has been a musician since he was 5 years old: he was a grade 8 (distinction) violinist by the time he was 12, when he then went to study violin & composition at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department. He taught himself piano, guitar, bass and drums, and achieved grade 8 (distinction) in singing aged 17. Fionn also plays mandolin, and loves working with synths, both analog and digital. Fionn's favourite genres span from indie to electronica, prog rock to pop.
